John D. Hutchinson
John D. Hutchinson is President of Trez Capital Texas and the founding partner of Trez Capital Texas with Trez Capital Group of Canada. From 1996 through 2009, Mr. Hutchinson was President of the Dallas Division of The Ryland Group, Inc., a major developer, builder and marketer of residential housing in the United States. In 1994 and 1995, Mr. Hutchinson served as President of Perry Homes, Inc., a regional builder with offices in Houston and San Antonio, Texas. Earlier, Mr. Hutchinson was Vice President and General Counsel of Hillwood Development Corporation, a Dallas, Texas based mixed-use real estate development firm controlled by the Perot family. From 1978 to 1992, Mr. Hutchinson was engaged in the full time practice of law in the Hughes & Luce, LLP law firm in Dallas, which subsequently merged into the national law firm of K&L Gates, LLP, and today is the Dykema Law Firm.
During his nearly 14 years as President of Ryland’s Dallas division, Mr. Hutchinson was chief executive for the operations of the division and oversaw the construction of more than 11,000 homes and the development of more than 5,000 residential lots. At various times the Dallas division had over 200 employees and produced revenues of over $175,000,000 annually.
Tim Litinas is Vice President of both Trez Capital Texas and Amalgamated Development. From 2008 to 2013, Mr. Litinas was CFO for Grand Homes, a large, privately-owned Dallas homebuilder. Mr. Litinas was responsible for financial operations of the company. Between 2007 and 2008, Mr. Litinas was Controller of a small Dallas residential land development company. From 1995 to 2007, Mr. Litinas was Controller of the Dallas Division of Ryland Group. Prior to that time, Mr. Litinas was a Senior Internal Auditor and Corporate Accounting Manager for Ryland. Mr. Litinas is a Certified Public Accountant.
Grant S. Morrow
Grant S. Morrow is Vice President of Trez Capital Texas, joining the firm in July 2013. From 2004 to June 2013, Mr. Morrow was Vice President of Graham Mortgage Corp. in Dallas, a privately funded, commercial real estate mortgage company, founded in 1976. As a loan officer for Graham, Mr. Morrow solicited, underwrote, originated and serviced a portfolio of approximately $330M in loans to the homebuilding and commercial real estate industry in Texas and selected cities in the U.S. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Morrow was Vice President for Land Acquisition for D.R. Horton Custom Homes, Gehan Homes and Richman American Homes, buying and developing single family residential land and lots. From 1989 to 1998, Mr. Morrow was Vice President of Medical Cities, Inc., a Dallas medical campus development and construction firm, associated with Medical City Dallas, Ltd., and the Trammell Crow Company. Also during that time, Mr. Morrow operated a custom home building company in the Dallas area. Mr. Morrow has an extensive background in commercial lending, loan underwriting, investment analysis, land development, and residential and commercial construction.
Jason S. Stowe
Jason S. Stowe is Vice President of Trez Capital Texas and joined the firm in March 2015 to work on equity partnerships and debt opportunities. From February 2009 to March 2015, Mr. Stowe was Investment Manager of the Southwestern U.S. for Stratford Realty Capital, responsible for identifying land investment opportunities, the origination of land loans and management of the investment portfolio. Prior to Stratford, Mr. Stowe worked for Pegasus Ablon Properties, a commercial real estate acquisition and development company specializing in undervalued opportunities. He performed numerous roles with the company including business development, investment oversight, and transaction support. Preceding Pegasus Ablon Properties, Mr. Stowe managed the business development and marketing activities for Fricke Real Estate Investments, a boutique private equity group involving asset management, maintaining client relationships, and fund-raising. Mr. Stowe was also employed by CDX Gas, LLC, as Special Project Director, focused on real estate, natural resources, business development, marketing activities and humanitarian efforts.
Angela Williams is the Loan Coordinator for Trez Capital Texas and joined the firm in August 2015. From 2012 to July 2015, Ms. Williams was an Asset Manager for Stratford Land in Dallas, a nationwide private land investment company. Prior to Stratford, Ms. Williams worked for Bank of the Ozarks as a Commercial Loan Assistant from 2008 to January 2012. Preceding Bank of the Ozarks, Ms. Williams worked at First Security Bank from 2000 to 2008 performing numerous roles including Loan Administration and Loan Assistant.
Nick Holloway joined Trez Capital Texas in March, 2016 and serves as an Analyst with a focus on partnership management and financial analysis. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Holloway served as a Senior Auditor in the Asset Management group of KPMG, LLP. During Mr. Holloway’s tenure with KPMG, he provided Audit and Assurance Services for public and private commercial real estate firms. Mr. Holloway received his B.B.A. and Master’s in Accounting from the University of Oklahoma.

Mr. Greene’s background in structuring large property acquisitions and mortgage transactions for lenders and borrowers led him to found Trez Capital in 1997. He remains actively involved in the firm, providing management strategy and building long-term client relationships. Prior to founding Trez Capital, Mr. Greene practiced law for 32 years, specializing in tax and transaction work in the mortgage and real estate industry. Mr. Greene served with several prestigious law firms, most recently Owen Bird of Vancouver, BC. Mr. Greene graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Manitoba in 1965 and was called to the bars of the provinces of Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.
Greg Vorwaller was appointed President of Trez Capital on July 6, 2015. As President, Mr. Vorwaller is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the firm, building both new and existing business, capitalizing on strategic opportunities and developing and implementing Trez’ overall strategy. Mr. Vorwaller has held a number of senior executive positions at prominent financial and real estate services firms where he led and built businesses encompassing investment sales, mortgage brokerage and investment banking to market leading positions. Most recently he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of Capital Markets of Cushman & Wakefield, prior to which he served as the President and Chief Operating Officer of CBRE’s Global Capital Markets business line. In each capacity, Greg developed a reputation for leading from the front line, working with teams and clients throughout the US, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific in developing and executing business plans which resulted in the advancement of the key strategic initiatives of each firm. Mr. Vorwaller graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts. He serves as a board member of Dental Associates and sits on the Board of Advisors of the UW Madison Graaskamp Center for Real Estate. In addition, Mr. Vorwaller is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Economic Club of Chicago.

Trez Capital Texas Affiliates– Amalgamated Development
Frederick S. Phillips
Frederick S. Phillips is the Vice President of Amalgamated Development, a Trez Capital Texas associated development operation. Amalgamated operates independently from Trez Capital to acquire development property and build single family residential lots in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. From 1993 to 2011, Mr. Phillips was Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development for the Dallas Division of Ryland Group, which was one of the largest homebuilders in Dallas and the United States, and managed the entire land purchase and subdivision development process for the Division. In 1992 and 1993, Mr. Phillips was a partner in a Dallas custom homebuilding operation. From 1983 to 1991, Mr. Phillips was a construction supervisor, new home sales counselor and director of land and development for Gemcraft Homes, a publicly traded regional homebuilder. Mr. Phillips supervised the acquisition, entitlement, engineering and development of lots for new home communities in Dallas/Ft. Worth, San Antonio, Houston, Atlanta and Oklahoma City.
Steve M. Fluker
Steven M. Fluker is Vice President of both Trez Capital Texas and Amalgamated Development, joining the firm in April 2014. From 2009 to 2014, Mr. Fluker was Purchasing Manager in Austin, Texas for Highland Homes, a large privately-owned Texas homebuilder. Between 2008 and 2009, Mr. Fluker was Purchasing Manager for The Ryland Group’s Austin Division. Between January 2008 and October 2008, Mr. Fluker was Director of Operations for Ryland’s Texas Region with responsibility for architecture, purchasing, operations and customer service for the Houston, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Austin and San Antonio Divisions. From 1996 to 2008, Mr. Fluker held several positions in the Dallas Division of Ryland including Architectural Manager and Purchasing Manager. Prior to 1996, Mr. Fluker was Manager of Land Acquisition for Perry Homes, Inc. in Houston and San Antonio.
